Behind The Name
Mono means one + Kloud (Cloud with a K) means a celestial realm. Put together, the word Monokloud represents an entity symbolising a home that belongs to its owners, customised to their unique lives. A metaphor we feel best tells a story of the uniqueness of each home.
What We Do
Monokloud Studio is an interior design and build firm based in Singapore made up of a dedicated husband and wife team. We have been transforming spaces and making liveable memories to our clients since 2017.
Layout plans are our canvas, clients are our inspiration. Recognising the daunting process of trying to imagine the new space as a home, we offer one-on-one personalised service and provide custom design solutions to make your dream space into reality. Hisham, The Project Manager
Meticulous and efficient, Hisham views the project from a technical and functional point of view. He keeps practicality in check and oversees the project from execution to completion with much care, knowing that each project is his responsibility to ensure the process is a smooth one.
Nurul, The Designer
Always finding inspiration, Nurul is constantly exploring new trends in interior design. Never one to easily give up, she always sees each spatial issue as a challenge to improve the lives of homeowners, at the same time, adding value and aesthetics to the space.

We are first-time homeowners on a small budget and we would like to get the proper essentials done for our home without having to deal with different contractors at one time. Thankfully, we met Monokloud Studio. Right from the start, they have been very helpful in providing sincere suggestions on how we can cut costs to suit our budget and advised us on what's best to be done/not to be done for our home. As first time home-owners, there were many things that we were unsure of and they were always there to respond to our questions.
They have also gone the extra mile to recommend places where we can get materials such as lighting and fans to suit our budget. We are very satisfied with the overall work done such as the quality of our flooring, the design, materials and carpentry works for our kitchen. Other areas of our home are well done too - no less. Monokloud team, forthcoming with our request on providing quotations though it’s just a small reno work for our home. We eventually started to engage the Monokloud team for the installation of glass doors for both our balcony and study room. We are happy with their work and service. Hence we decided to engage Monokloud again to enhance the look of our study room by installing a vinyl floor and fixing a built-in wardrobe. Our latest small project by Monokloud is the installation of additional kitchen cabinets for more storage space. We simply love the workmanship and outcome of all the home improvement. Hisham is very prompt, helpful and patient in replying to our queries. We highly recommend for his service and we wish Monokloud Studio success in the future.
Monokloud Studio was very helpful from the beginning when it came to home renovation since I never had any experience doing home renovation. They were able to create a dream home for us within our budget.
Having "different" ideas for our home, Hisham was extremely patient to source out the items whether or not they're available in Singapore & also to provide the quotation. Any ideas or suggestions from us were welcomed; if it doesn't fit or seemed unsuitable, they will provide a few reasons why (pros/cons).
One of my request(s) could cause me to over-budget. Instead of scrapping that idea completely, Afia/Hisham suggested a much cheaper alternative.
